Common Questions
My skylight only leaks in hard rain. Why?
That’s the signature of a flashing or weep-path problem rather than the glass seal — wind-driven rain finds the gap that gravity rain misses. It’s repairable without replacing the unit more often than not.
Should I just replace all my vent boots at once?
If one has failed and the roof is 10+ years old, yes — the rest are the same age and the trip charge is the expensive part. A full set costs far less than one interior repaint.
