Sagging Runs and Pulled Hangers

Leaf load and ice pull gutters off pitch until water sits instead of flows. We re-hang and re-pitch runs with modern hidden hangers into sound fascia — and when the fascia behind the pull-out is rotten, we fix that too, because a new hanger in bad wood is a countdown timer.

Seams, End Caps, and Outlets

Drips at seams and corners are the classic slow failure: joints resealed properly, failed sections replaced, outlet holes resized and sealed where downspouts meet the run. Seamless runs get honest triage — some sections repair, some sections deserve replacement, and we quote both ways.

Downspouts and Discharge

Crushed elbows, separated joints, and downspouts that dump at the foundation undo everything above. We repair and re-route the discharge so water lands away from the house — extensions and splash management included. It’s the cheapest foundation protection in the trades.

The Fascia Question

Behind most chronic gutter failures is soft fascia. We check it on every gutter call and photograph what we find — fixing the board with the gutter is one visit; discovering it two winters later is a carpentry project.

Repair or replace my gutters?

Repair wins when the runs are sound and the failures are point problems — hangers, seams, pitch. Replacement earns its cost when runs are rusted through, crushed, or chronically undersized for the roof feeding them. We quote honestly in whichever direction the gutter actually points.

Is this the same as your gutter cleaning service?

They’re siblings: cleaning and guards keep good gutters working; repair fixes the ones that have already failed. Book them together and one visit resets the whole system.
