Why we keep a public job log

Every contractor says “quality work.” Words are cheap and stock photos are cheaper. The Job Log is our answer: entries built from the actual photo archive of jobs we ran in this corridor — Beattyville, the Slade area, and the counties around them. No borrowed imagery, no staged shots, no names or addresses. Just the roof, the problem, and the fix. If a page here helps you understand what is happening over your own head, it has done its job even if you never call us.

What every entry shows

Each entry runs the same three beats, because that is how a real job runs. What we found: the leak path, the rot, the failed flashing — diagnosed, not guessed. What we did: the actual process, step by step, in plain trade language. What it looks like now: the finished work, photographed before we packed the trailer. We include the judgment calls too — where we chose repair over replacement, or told an owner to wait. The judgment is the part you are really hiring.

Every entry started the same way: an owner sent a photo or made a call. If something on your roof looks wrong — a stain spreading on a ceiling, a shingle in the yard, a seam lifting on a flat roof — send it through the free photo diagnosis or text it to (859) 310-1209. We tell you what we see and what it likely needs, free, before anyone climbs anything. Whether it becomes a Job Log entry is up to you; photos of your property are only ever published with your permission.

Are these real jobs or marketing composites?

Real jobs from our own archive, run by our crew in this corridor. We deliberately leave out customer names, addresses, prices, and dates, and we only publish photos with the owner’s permission — so what remains is the true part that is useful to you: the condition we found and the process that fixed it.

Why no prices on the Job Log entries?

Because a price from someone else’s roof would mislead you about yours. Pitch, access, decking condition, and material choice swing costs widely between two jobs that photograph almost identically. When we look at your specific roof we quote it in writing. The entries show process and judgment — the quote shows your number.
